Everything a teacher does each term

Teachers see only the classes and subjects assigned to them. Leadership reviews, verifies and publishes.

A teacher's week in one place.

My Classes, Timetable & Registers

Each teacher sees the classes and subjects assigned to them this term, and their own timetable for the week. Class masters mark their class register each morning, and leadership can mark or correct any class.

  • My Classes: the classes and subjects you teach this term
  • My Timetable: your periods for the week
  • Daily class register, marked by the class master
  • Learners in your classes, with their records

My Classes, Timetable & Registers

Weekly notes, started from the scheme of work.

Lesson Notes

Teachers write a lesson note for each subject and class every week. Each note starts from that week's entry in the scheme of work. Leadership opens submitted notes and approves them, or sends them back with comments.

  • A note per subject and class, each week
  • Starts from the week's scheme of work entry
  • Due by the deadline the school sets; late notes are marked
  • Approved, or sent back with comments, by leadership

Enter marks once; totals and positions follow.

Scores & Assessment Sheet

Teachers record class assessments and end-of-term exam results for the subjects they teach. The school sets which kinds of assessment count, how assessment and exam are weighted, and the grade scale. The assessment sheet then shows every subject's assessment, exam and total, with positions across the class.

  • Class work, homework, class tests and more, as the school defines them
  • Exam results entered per subject
  • Weighting of assessment and exam set by the school
  • Grade scales turn scores into grades and remarks
  • Assessment sheet with totals and class positions, ready to print or export
  • Teachers can only enter marks for subjects assigned to them

Scores & Assessment Sheet

From marks to report cards parents can read.

Term Results & Report Cards

Leadership checks, corrects and verifies results for any class and subject, then reviews each class's broadsheet. Class teachers and the head add their remarks, and report cards are published to parents in the parent portal.

  • Term results checked and verified by leadership
  • Class broadsheets before publishing
  • Class teacher's and head's remarks
  • Published to parents in the parent portal
  • Remarks lock once published; withdraw to make changes
  • Promotions at the end of the year

Term Results & Report Cards

Set a test, let it mark itself, and send the marks on.

Online Assessments

Any teacher can set an online assessment for a class. Learners answer through a link using their admission number and the access code. Choices, numbers and short answers are marked automatically, and the teacher marks written answers. The teacher then decides whether the marks go into the class's continuous assessment.

  • Marks per question, with the right answers set by the teacher
  • Automatic marking for choices, numbers and short answers
  • Teacher marking and comments for paragraph answers
  • Deadlines, time limits and a countdown; answers save as learners go
  • Release marks, and the right answers if you choose, to learners
  • Send to continuous assessment as the assessment type you choose

Online Assessments

Ask staff, parents or learners anything.

Forms & Surveys

The same builder makes surveys and questionnaires for staff and parents: event replies, parent feedback, staff check-ins and more. Forms stay within the school. The owner of each form decides whether it's anonymous, and the form says so clearly to the people answering.

  • Short and long answers, choices, tick boxes, drop-downs, scales, dates and more
  • Staff answer in the staff portal, parents in the parent portal
  • Limit to chosen roles or the parents of chosen classes
  • Anonymous or named, shown clearly on the form
  • Closing dates, response limits and editing after sending
  • Summary charts, individual responses and spreadsheet export
